Omron E2E-X2D2-N 2M is a shielded inductive proximity switch from the E2E/E2E NEXT series, sensing at 2 mm with a normally closed output and DC 2-wire configuration. Supplied with a 2-meter PVC cable, this sensor is wired as a standard NC (break contact) device — the output opens when metal enters the sensing face. The shielded construction allows flush mounting in metal without derating the sensing range, which is important for tight machine cavities or tool changers.
