Sensor for tight spots and washdown zones
The E2E-X4B1TL8-M3 is an M8 shielded inductive proximity sensor from Omron's E2E NEXT series, outputting PNP normally open over three wires. Rated for 4mm sensing distance and switches at up to 700Hz, enough for fast part presence or counting on a conveyor. IP69K sealing means it survives high-pressure washdown cycles common in food and beverage lines. The shielded design allows flush mounting in metal, so it sits nearly flush with the mounting surface, reducing collision risk.
Ratings that matter for fit
4mm shielded sensing: the part detects ferrous targets up to that distance reliably when mounted in steel. Non-ferrous metals derate the range per the standard inductive curve. Switches at up to 700Hz for fast detection in part counting or conveyor applications. Nickel-plated brass body: stands up to caustic washdown chemicals and physical impacts in a panel or on a machine frame.
