The Omron E2E-X4B3D12 5M is an inductive proximity sensor from the E2E NEXT series, built to detect metal targets up to 4 mm through an M12 shielded threaded cylinder. Rated IP67 and IP69K, it handles high-pressure washdown environments – food processing or wash-down zones – with a nickel-plated brass body and cable leads delivering a PNP-NC/NO output using 10 to 30 VDC. The LED indicator gives local status; the 1 kHz response frequency keeps up with moderate-speed part detection. Supplied in a box with cable leads – no separate mounting bracket or connector – the kit is the sensor and lead wire only.
