The E2E-X4B3D12-M1: Shielded construction means the 4 mm sensing range is stable even when flush-mounted in metal. Sensing distance is rated against a standard iron target; derate slightly for other metals. The PNP output switches positive to the load, common for PLC inputs. NO+NC configuration offers both normally-open and normally-closed outputs in one housing, reducing wiring for interlock logic.
