Omron E2E-X5C118-M1 is an M18 shielded inductive proximity sensor from the E2E NEXT series, rated IP67 and IP69K. It outputs NPN normally-open, switches loads up to 200 mA, and senses ferrous targets at 5 mm. Supply range is 10-30 V DC, terminated through the built-in M12 connector. Body is nickel-plated brass, 53 mm overall height.
The E2E NEXT series adds washdown resistance (IP69K) and oil resistance, making this sensor a candidate for high-pressure washdown zones on packaging and bottling lines. Prox3 hybrid circuitry with thermal distance control keeps detection stable across the -40 to 185 °F range. Indicator light built in for local status.
