The E2E-X7D112 5M: M12 shielded DC 2-wire normally open proximity switch delivering a 7 mm sensing range on a 5-meter PVC cable. Part of the E2E NEXT series by Omron. The 2-wire configuration places the load in series with the supply; confirm that the connected input card can source the required off-state leakage current to avoid false drop-out when de-energized. Shielded construction permits flush mounting in metal without derating the sensing distance.
