E2E-X7D112-T 2M Overview
The Omron E2E-X7D112-T 2M is an M12 shielded inductive proximity sensor from the E2E NEXT series, configured as a DC 2-wire normally open device. Its shielded construction allows flush mounting in metal without the standard derating applied to unshielded sensors. The sensing range is 7 mm, typical for a shielded M12 sensor. Wiring is simplified by the 2-wire DC interface; the sensor is polarity-free, so incorrect hookup will not damage the unit. The unit terminates in a 2-meter PVC cable, ready for direct connection to a control system.
