The Omron E2E-X7D212 2M is a current-production M12 shielded inductive proximity sensor from the E2E NEXT series, offering a 3x extended sensing range with a 7 mm detection distance and a normally closed (NC) output in a 2-wire DC configuration. Rated IP67, IP67G, and IP69K, this sensor withstands high-pressure washdown and dust ingress, making it a fit for food processing, pharmaceutical, and other sanitary applications.
The shielded design allows flush mounting in metal — no sensing dead zone on the sides. The 2-wire DC output simplifies wiring: connect in series with the load, polarity-protected across 10–30 VDC.
