M18 shielded proximity sensor with IO-Link
The Omron E2E-X8B1D18-M1 is an M18 shielded inductive proximity sensor from the E2E NEXT series. It delivers an 8 mm sensing range, PNP normally open output, and IO-Link communication at 38.4 kbps. Connection is via an M12 connector. The shielded construction allows flush mounting in metal, and the standard oscillation frequency suits general-purpose target detection. The 3-wire PNP output interfaces directly with most PLC inputs.
