The E2E-X8B3D18-M1 is an M18 shielded inductive proximity sensor from Omron's E2E NEXT series, sensing 8 mm to ferrous targets. Output is PNP NO+NC — both normally open and normally closed contacts available on the M12 connector. IO-Link communication at 38.4 kbps is built in, so you can read signal level, count, and sensor status over the same 3-wire DC cable.
