The E2E-X9B1T12-M1 out in the grease
The Omron E2E-X9B1T12-M1 is a shielded M12 proximity switch from the E2E NEXT series. It gives you a solid 9 mm sensing range on ferrous metal, PNP normally open, three-wire DC, and it talks IO-Link at 230.4 kbps. Out here in the grease, that means you can flush-mount it in a steel bracket and still get reliable detection without false triggers from the surrounding metal.
