Sensor configuration for PLC input wiring
Omron E2E2-X5B2 2M is a shielded inductive proximity sensor with a 5 mm sensing distance, normally closed output, and PNP open-collector DC 3-wire configuration. The 2-meter integral cable simplifies wiring in tight panels.
Flush-mount compatibility
Shielded construction allows flush mounting in metal without derating the sensing distance. The normally closed output pulls the signal line low when the target is absent; wire it to a sinking PLC input.
