What You're Getting
This Omron E2E2-X5C1 is a workhorse inductive proximity sensor from the E2E2 line. 5 mm sensing distance with ±10% tolerance, normally open output, and an 18 mm threaded barrel. Pre-wired cable makes installation quick — no connector to lose. Rugged enough for washdown and dusty spots: IP67 protection, and it runs from -40 to 85°C ambient. Supply it with 12 to 24 VDC and it switches at 600 Hz—good for moderate-speed counting or position detection.
Standard M18 mount. Pre-wired models save installation time but plan the cable route before panel wiring. The NO output is simple; just pull up to your PLC input.
