The E2E2-X5MY1-M4: M12 threaded housing, unshielded sensing face – must not be flush-mounted, but gives a full 5 mm detection gap against ferrous targets. 2-wire AC output, switching 5 to 200 mA directly from a 20-264V AC supply. No DC capability. Verify the minimum load of 5 mA against your PLC input or relay coil; below that the output may not reset reliably. Sealed to IP67 and NEMA 4X – fine for coolant splash, washdown, or outdoor under cover. M12 connector keeps field replacement quick without opening the cable gland. Features cable protector, increased tightening strength, and milled wrench grip – these are mechanical details for a reliable install in tight spaces, not electrical differences.
