Compared to the E2C-X1R5AH
The E2C-X1R5AH looks similar on paper — same 1.5 mm sense, shielded — but it's a different beast. That one is just the sensor head and requires a separate amplifier unit (E2C-AM4A or E2C-AK4A) to function. The E2EL-X1R5E2 2M is a complete self-contained sensor with built-in electronics and a 2 m cable vs the E2Cs 3 m head cable. Also, the E2C handles -10 to 200°C (heat-resistance model) while the E2EL is general-purpose; if your panel sees extreme heat, the E2C pair might be needed. Bottom line: they are not drop-in interchangeable — wiring, mounting depth, and amplifier demand differ. A panel built around E2C-X1R5AH will not accept the E2EL without rewiring and control logic change.
