The E2EW-QX22B1T30 2M is a weld-field immune, metal-faced inductive proximity sensor from Omron's E2EW series, designed for harsh environments where standard sensors fail. It delivers a 22 mm sensing distance at 4x the standard range, with equal detection of aluminum and iron, in an IP67-rated M30 stainless steel (SUS303) housing. Output is PNP normally open on a 3-wire DC supply (10–30 VDC) with an integral 2 m PVC cable. IO-Link COM3 communication enables parameterization and diagnostic data back to the controller—no gateway hack required for data-rich integration.
Standard M30 thread mounts; two nuts secure the 41.5 mm barrel. The stainless steel face resists weld spatter and mechanical impact, critical for sensor survival near welding cells.
