This E2EW-QX6C112 5M is a three-wire DC NPN normally-open proximity sensor in a 12 mm threaded stainless steel barrel. The 5-meter PVC cable suits the sensor for hardwired runs to the controller on welding fixtures or heavy-machinery turntables where abrasion resistance matters. IP67 sealing means it handles coolant spray and washdown without potting failures. The 6 mm sensing distance on a metal-face sensor is notably long — it gives you a working gap that keeps the steel nose clear of collision damage. Weld-field immunity is the main event here; it does not false-trigger from the high-frequency magnetic fields around a weld gun, so you can mount it close to the arc without shielding.
