10 mm flush-mount range with 400 Hz switching
The 10 mm sensing distance applies to mild steel targets when the sensor is flush-mounted — the correction factor for stainless steel is approximately 0.7×, so budget 7 mm in a stainless application. Flush mounting means the sensor face can be level with the mounting surface, protecting it from mechanical impact. Switching frequency is 400 Hz, fast enough to detect passing parts on a conveyor at moderate line speeds without missing edges. The PNP NO output sinks 200 mA, compatible with standard PLC digital inputs.
M12 connector termination and temperature range
Terminated with an M12 4-pin connector, the sensor mates with standard M12 cordsets — no hardwiring needed, which speeds replacement during a line stoppage. The 58 mm body length fits standard M30 mounting brackets. Operating temperature spans -40 °C to 85 °C, covering freezer applications and hot washdown zones. Supply voltage is 10-30 VDC with a 16 mA current consumption, so loop power draw is minimal even on long cable runs.
