M18 non-flush inductive sensor – IP69K, 400 Hz
The Omron E2EX16MB1T185MOMS is an M18 non-flush inductive sensor from the E2E-Next series. It delivers 16 mm sensing distance at 400 Hz switching frequency – fast enough to see clear PET bottles flying past on a filler line. The brass nickel-plated housing and IP67/IP67G/IP69K rating mean it shrugs off washdown spray and high-pressure cleaning routines common in food and beverage plants. Rated for 10–30 VDC supply with 16 mA consumption, it sinks up to 200 mA load current on the PNP NO output. The 5 m cable is pre-attached – no connector to miswire or lose, but plan your cable run: if the sensor sits more than 5 m from the PLC input module, you’ll need a junction box or a field-wireable extension (the M12 connector sibling is one option for shorter runs).
Cable or connector – pick the termination that fits your panel
This 5 m cable version (E2EX16MB1T185MOMS) is mechanically identical to the 2 m cable variant (E2EX16MB1T182MOMS) – same 55.3 mm body, same sensing head, same IP rating. The only difference is the cable length; use the longer cable when the sensor is far from the control cabinet, the shorter one when a local junction box is planned. This 5 m cable version is 55.3 mm long. The M12 connector siblings are 53 mm and 75 mm long; choose one for tool-free swaps.
