What it is and what it's rated for
The Omron E2EX16MB3D18M1OMS is an M18 inductive proximity sensor from the E2E-Next series. It is a non-flush mount design with a 16 mm sensing range, PNP output configurable as normally open or normally closed. Switching frequency is 400 Hz, supply voltage 10–30 V, current consumption 20 mA, and load current 100 mA. The housing is brass nickel-plated, rated IP67 and IP69K — that means it handles high-pressure washdown and temporary submersion, which is what you need if this sensor lives in a wet well or gets hosed down daily.
