The Omron E2EX4B2L122MOMS is an inductive proximity sensor from the E2E-Next series, delivering a 4 mm flush sensing range with a PNP normally-closed output at 1 kHz switching frequency, and rated for industrial environments down to -40 °C and up to 85 °C. Housed in a nickel-plated brass M12 body with a 2 m cable, it carries IP67, IP67G, and IP69K protection for washdown and high-pressure spray zones. Mounting & wiring note
Flush mount in metal — the 4 mm sensing distance is measured from the face, so standard panel cutouts for M12 sensors apply. The PNP NC output pulls low when a target is absent; confirm PLC input type (sourcing vs sinking) before wiring. The cable is 2 m, PVC-jacketed, suitable for direct termination in a junction box.
