Washdown-ready inductive sensor for food & beverage
The Omron E2EX8MB3D122MOMS is a current-production M12 inductive proximity sensor from the E2E-Next series, rated IP67, IP67G, and IP69K. That IP69K rating means it survives daily high-pressure, hot caustic washdown cycles—no compromises in a dairy or beverage line. The brass nickel-plated housing and 2-meter cable are rated for those environments. Switching frequency at 800 Hz keeps up with fast conveyor or packaging targets. Output is a single PNP transistor, configurable as NO or NC (programmable). That pull or give the control logic the state it expects without an extra interposing relay. Supply voltage from 10 to 30 VDC, current consumption 20 mA, load current up to 100 mA. Non-flush mount, 8 mm sensing distance. The 47.1 mm body length fits standard M12 bracket footprints. Operating temperature from -40 °C to 85 °C covers both freezer and hot-wash zones.
