M18 inductive proximity sensor, IP68-rated for wet production environments

The Omron E2F-X5E2 is a cylindrical inductive proximity sensor from the E2F series. It uses a shielded M18 threaded polyarylate-resin body with a 5 mm sensing range on ferrous metal targets, NPN normally-closed output, and a 3-wire 10–30 V DC supply. The resin housing and IP68 rating make it suitable for food and beverage washdown lines, machine-tool coolant zones, and outdoor conveyor systems where metal-bodied sensors would corrode.
