Sensor fit and supply
The E2F-X5Y2-US: M18 shielded inductive proximity sensor with a 5 mm sensing distance, wired as a 2-wire AC device. Supply voltage range is 24 to 240 VAC, so it drops into existing AC control loops without an extra power supply. Output is NO/NC selectable via the wire pair. The 2 m PVC cable gives enough lead for panel routing without junction boxes. Current production — a clean line item if the spec matches your AC loop and mounting hole.
How it compares to E2E-X5Y1-M1
If your BOM originally called out E2E-X5Y1-M1 and you're considering this as a swap, note the connection difference: the E2E uses an M12 quick-disconnect, while the E2F has a fixed 2 m cable. The E2E body is stainless steel; the E2F is polyarylate plastic. Same 5 mm shielded sensing, same M18 thread, but plan for rewiring if you go with the E2F.
