What the sensor delivers
The Omron E2FQX10F1 is an M30 flush-mount inductive sensor from the E2FQ series. It detects ferrous targets at 10 mm distance, switches at 400 Hz, and handles up to 200 mA from a 10–30 V DC supply.
Mounting and wiring notes
Flush mounting allows the sensor face to sit even with the mounting surface—no derating needed. The 2 m PVC cable carries two conductors for the normally-open contact; confirm polarity if your system requires brown (+), blue (–), black (NO). IP67 means the sensor survives temporary submersion, so it's ready for washdown or outdoor panels.
Cylindrical vs rectangular: E2Q6-N20F3-H
If you need more sensing range or a terminal block connection, the E2Q6-N20F3-H offers 20 mm distance and rectangular 40×40 mm housing with screw terminals. The E2FQX10F1 is the cylindrical M30 version with a pre-wired cable—no extra connector to buy, but you give up the extra 10 mm of reach.
