M12 flush inductive sensor for tight spaces
Omron E2FX2F12MOMS is an M12 flush-mount inductive sensor in the E2F series. Rated for 10–30 VDC, it draws 17 mA and switches a 200 mA load at 1.5 kHz. The 2 mm sensing distance and compact 17 mm body make it a fit where a larger barrel won't clear machine structure or tooling. IP67 rating and 2 m cable suit it for washdown zones and coolant-heavy lines. Flush mounting in metal allows it to sit level with the mounting surface, reducing collision risk.
Integration notes
Mounts flush in a 17 mm hole with standard M12 clamp nut; the 2 m cable exits axially. Sensing range of 2 mm is rated on ferrous metal; switching frequency of 1.5 kHz supports fast counting.
