The Omron E32-T14L 2M is a through-beam fiber optic sensor with a 3 mm cylindrical head that fits into tight spaces — think small sensing gaps in packaging or assembly lines where a standard photoelectric won't clear. It reaches 1420 mm across the gap, enough for medium-distance presence detection on conveyor or part-positioning stations.
The 1420 mm sensing range is the through-beam distance between the fiber emitter and receiver tips — if your application can tolerate a 2 m cable length (locked in) and a 25 mm minimum bend radius for the fiber, this sensor will route cleanly inside cable carriers.
