E3AS-F1500IMN M3 is a time-of-flight photoelectric sensor from the E3AS-F series. It bounces infrared at 940 nm off a target and measures return time to figure distance—so it’s reflective, not through-beam or retroreflective. NPN output, runs on 10 to 30 VDC. Sensing range is 50 mm out to 1.5 m, but that far end depends on target reflectivity; bright white will hit 1.5 m, a matte black drum maybe half that. Connector style means you supply the cable pair.

The housing carries both IP67 and IP69K ratings. Response time is 150ms. Operating temperature -20°C to 55°C. The IP69K rating and the plastic housing mean it can take a cold warehouse or a hot wash bay, but you'll want to derate ambient if it's inside a sealed enclosure next to hot drives.
