Triangulation laser sensor with selectable speed
The Omron E3AS-HL150LMD 2M is a triangulation photoelectric sensor from the E3AS-HL series, sensing from 35 mm to 150 mm with a visible 660 nm red laser diode. That range and method make it suited for precise presence, position, or displacement checking on targets that would confuse a diffuse sensor – think metallic bottle caps, dark plastic, or glossy labels. The laser spot stays small, so you can aim at a specific feature without a retroreflective tape. Three response-time settings (1.5 ms, 10 ms, 50 ms) let you match the part to the line speed. The 1.5 ms mode catches fast-moving parts on a high-speed pick-and-place; the slower settings filter out vibration or intermittent blockage in a washing station. Switching between them uses the teaching input – no DIP switch to reach inside a panel. Rated IP67, IP67G, and IP69K. Supply voltage 10–30 VDC.
