What makes this sensor different
The Omron E3F-R2Z2 is a photoelectric sensor that switches AC loads directly — up to 264 VAC at 200 mA. That sets it apart from the common DC-output NPN/PNP sensors on most lines. The residual voltage of 5 V at 200 mA confirms a solid-state triac-style output, which handles contactor coils or lamps without an extra relay. If you're wiring one in, treat the output like a line-voltage switch, not a DC sink.
