The E3F2-R2B4-P1: The E3F2-R2B4-: The Omron E3F2-R2B4- is an M18 retro-reflective photoelectric sensor with a 2000 mm sensing range. It switches PNP, selectable light-on/dark-on via the pink wire (connect both wires for one mode, leave pink open for the other). Response time is 2.5 ms max, enough for moderate-speed object detection on a conveyor or packaging line. Rated IP67 with a plastic threaded barrel, good for washdown areas as long as the connector end is properly sealed.

M18 threaded barrel, plastic housing. Tighten with a wrench on the nut; do not overtorque. IP67 means it survives hose-down, but the cable entry (if pigtail) should be pointed down or fitted with a sealed gland. Power supply 10-30 VDC, draws 25 mA max. PNP output — typical for PLC inputs. The L/D selection via the pink wire: connect pink and brown together for one mode, leave pink open for the other. Test with a reflector to confirm polarity before fixing the bracket.
