Omron E3FA-DP21 M18 threaded diffuse photoelectric sensor — red LED, 100 mm maximum sensing distance on a 75 mm opaque target. PNP output, M12 quick-disconnect, selectable light-on/dark-on. Rated IP67 and IP69K, so it shrugs off the washdown spray on a filler deck. Response time 0.5 msec keeps up at line speed. Load current 100 mA max, supply 10-30 VDC.

Mount with the right-angle lens face oriented toward the target; indicator lights aid alignment. 4-pin M12 connector — wiring order per pinout (not shown here). Output reverse polarity protection, short circuit protection; power supply reverse polarity protection built in. Set the switching mode via the selector for light-on or dark-on operation.
