What it is and what it does
The E3FA-LP112M is a 17 mm diameter M18 threaded cylinder with a right-angle sensing face, delivering diffuse photoelectric detection at up to 100 mm. It switches a PNP output rated to 100 mA, configurable for light-on or dark-on operation. The prewired 2 m bare-wire cable connects directly to a controller, and the 0.5 msec response time suits fast part counting or presence sensing.
Harsh-environment capability
Rated IP67 and IP69K, the plastic body survives high-pressure washdown and dust ingress — common in food, beverage, and packaging lines. The right-angle face and M18 thread simplify mounting in tight quarters; the 2 m cable reaches to the nearest junction box or panel entry.
