Sensor at a glance
The Omron E3FA-TP112M is a through-beam photoelectric sensor set — transmitter and receiver in a matched pair — delivering a 20 m sensing range over a red light beam, which holds the unit on the grid for conveyor presence detection or long-range object counting. With a PNP output rated at 100 mA, the sensor switches at 0.5 msec, making it responsive enough for fast-moving targets. It operates on 10-30V DC and includes output reverse polarity protection, output short circuit protection, and power supply reverse polarity protection, provided that the supply is within the rated range. The M18 threaded cylindrical body, IP67 and IP69K rated, suits high-pressure washdown environments.
Mounting and wiring
M18 threaded mount, right-angle face, 2 m prewired cable with bare wire ends, and selectable light-on/dark-on mode (verify before energizing). IP69K rating requires sealed cable entry and undamaged sensor face.
