What this sensor is and what it does
The Omron E3FADN22OMI is an E3FA series diffuse reflective photoelectric sensor with a 300 mm sensing range. It delivers a 500 µs response time and outputs NPN (sinking) at 100 mA load. The red LED light source and selectable Light-ON / Dark-ON switching give you flexibility for object presence or background detection in tight spaces. Runs on 10–30 VDC and comes with an M12 connector for quick installation. The dual IP67/IP69K rating means it survives high-pressure washdown without additional enclosure — common in food processing, beverage lines, and heavy wash areas.
