The Omron E3FADP152MOMS is an E3FA-series diffuse reflective photoelectric sensor with an infrared LED emitter and a PNP output, sized for short-range presence detection up to 300 mm in industrial panels and conveyor cells. It runs on 10–30 VDC, switches up to 100 mA, and resolves in 500 us, which is the right shape for object detection on packaging lines, part-present checks, and small-part counting rather than high-speed registration work. Light-ON / Dark-ON is selectable on the body, so the same order code can be wired for either sink-side logic convention without a second SKU.
Body, cable, and environmental envelope
The housing is 16.6 mm wide by 41 mm long, terminating in a fixed 2 m cable rather than an M12 connector — the wiring exit is what most distinguishes this order code from the connectorised E3FA siblings in the same range. IP67 and IP69K sealing covers both immersion and high-pressure hot-water washdown, so the sensor stays specified for food-and-beverage, outdoor, and hose-down cells without an extra shroud. Operating temperature runs from -25 °C to 55 °C, which keeps the part valid for unheated aisles, cold-storage dock doors, and standard factory ambient without derating the sensing range.
