300 mm diffuse sensing with IP69K washdown rating
The Omron E3FADP25OMS is a diffuse reflective photoelectric sensor with a 300 mm sensing distance on a standard white target, using an infrared LED emitter. The PNP output switches 100 mA at 10-30 VDC, with a 500 µs response time that catches objects moving at line speed up to roughly 2 m/s before the output misses an edge. The IP67 and IP69K sealing means this sensor body and optics withstand high-pressure washdown at 80 bar and 80 °C — suitable for food-and-beverage lines, car wash tunnels, and dairy processing zones where standard IP67 sensors fail at the seal face.
Mounting footprint and connector interface
At 16.6 mm wide and 45 mm long, the cylindrical M18-threaded barrel fits standard sensor mounting brackets and through-hole machine frames. The M12 4-pin connector eliminates pigtail wiring — field replacement takes under a minute without opening a junction box. The Light-ON / Dark-ON selector switch on the housing lets the same sensor handle presence detection (object present = output ON) or gap detection (object absent = output ON) without rewiring the output circuit.
