The E3FALP22OMI is a background-suppression photoelectric sensor from the E3FA series, rated for 200 mm sensing distance with a PNP output and an IP69K/IP67 enclosure that handles washdown. That IP69K rating means it survives hot caustic CIP cycles without losing alignment, and the background suppression keeps false triggers off shiny cans or liquid surfaces. The sensor uses a red LED light source.
Mounting and wiring
At 16.6 mm wide and 45 mm long, it fits into tight conveyor-side brackets without crowding adjacent sensors. The sensor terminates with an M12 connector. Response time is 500 \u00b5s, fast enough to catch bottles on a high-speed line at 200 mm range without dropping counts. Operates on 10–30 VDC; the PNP output sources up to 100 mA, enough to drive a PLC input or a small relay directly.
