4 m retro-reflective with IP69K — built for washdown zones
The Omron E3FARP21F2OMS is a retro-reflective photoelectric sensor with a 4 m sensing range, using a red LED light source. The PNP output switches a 100 mA load with a 500 µs response time, making it fast enough for high-speed bottle or package detection on a conveyor line. The IP67/IP69K rating means the sensor body and optics withstand high-pressure, high-temperature washdown — a requirement for food-and-beverage, brewery, and pharmaceutical lines where sanitation cycles hit the sensor directly.
PNP output, selectable light/dark mode — flexible integration
Output is PNP (sourcing) compatible with most PLC input modules. The Light-ON / Dark-ON switching mode is selectable, so the same sensor handles both presence-detection and gap-detection logic without a wiring change. Operating voltage range is 10–30 VDC, matching standard 24 VDC industrial control supplies. The M12 4-pin connector mates with standard cordsets — no hardwiring into the sensor head, which speeds replacement on a live line.
