Diffuse-reflective AC-powered sensor for short-range detection
The E3JK-DS30M1: Supply voltage spans 24 to 240 VAC, which lets the same sensor body drop into 24 V control transformers or 200/220 V control power without a separate DC supply rail — a wiring simplification in older relay-logic panels. Response time of 30 ms is the limiting edge rate for downstream counting or high-speed detection; for conveyor-edge or part-present duties well below roughly 10 Hz it is comfortably adequate, but high-speed indexing lines will outpace it. Operating temperature runs −25 to 55 °C, which covers unheated warehousing and most factory-floor enclosures; derating above 40 °C follows the standard curve and should be checked against cabinet interior temperature, not ambient.
Form factor, body, and wiring
The housing measures 5.8 × 4 × 6 cm with a wire-lead terminal exit, suitable for cable gland entry into a junction box rather than a quick-disconnect M12 plug; replacement harnesses must be specified against the lead-side wiring, not a connector keying.
