What this sensor does
The Omron E3JKDR112MOMI is a diffuse reflective sensor whose relay output switches 3 A loads directly at up to 240 VAC/VDC — no interposing relay needed. It emits a red LED beam and detects objects by the reflected light, reaching 2.5 m under ideal conditions. Response time is 20 ms, adequate for moderate-speed conveyor or packaging lines.
