The E3JM-DS70M4-G OMS is a diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor from Omron, rated to detect a 200×200 mm white target at up to 700 mm. It uses an infrared LED at 950 nm and switches a relay output, making it a straightforward replacement for presence-detection on conveyors, packaging lines, or material-handling stations where a reflective target is impractical.
Power supply is 24 to 240 VAC, ±10 %, so it works across common line voltages without a separate DC supply — one less part in the panel. The relay output handles 0 to 3 A load current, which is enough to drive a small contactor coil or a PLC input directly. Operation mode is Light-ON/Dark-ON selectable via a switch, giving flexibility for either presence or absence detection in the same install.
