The Omron E3NW-ECT is a sensor communications unit that puts up to 30 sensor stations onto an EtherCAT network. That 30-unit ceiling is a hard count: every connected node — whether a photoelectric, fiber, or proximity sensor — counts against the total. If your line needs more than 30 nodes, you'll need a second unit or a different topology.
