3 m retro-reflective with 500 µs catch speed
The E3RARP21OMI is a retro-reflective photoelectric sensor from Omron's E3RA series, delivering a 3 m sensing range with a 500 µs response time. That 500 µs means it catches objects moving past at line speed without the PLC missing the edge — the output pulse width is wide enough for a standard 24 VDC input card to register. Output is PNP, light-ON / dark-ON selectable, switching 100 mA at 10–30 VDC. The M12 4-pin connector makes field swap-out a quarter-turn — no re-termination on a live line.
IP67 / IP69K — washdown-ready without a secondary housing
Rated IP67 and IP69K, the sensor body and optics survive high-pressure, high-temperature washdown cycles common in food-and-beverage and pharmaceutical lines. The IP69K rating means the housing withstands 80 °C water at 80–100 bar — no need for a separate stainless-steel shroud. Operating temperature spans -25 °C to 55 °C, covering cold storage and washdown zones. The red LED light source is visible during alignment — you see the spot on the reflector without a separate alignment tool.
