Visible LED light source and what it buys you
The E3RB-DN21 uses a visible LED light source, which means the alignment beam is visible to the naked eye during setup — no IR viewer or guesswork when aiming at a reflector or target. Visible red LEDs also tend to punch through moderate dust and steam better than infrared in wet environments, though the exact excess gain curve depends on the target surface and distance.
