The OMRON E3S-R2B4 is a current-production retroreflective photoelectric sensor with PNP output, infrared LED, and a rated sensing distance of 2 m. It operates on 12 … 24 V DC and switches up to 100 mA DC load. The metal housing carries an IP67 rating, and the 2 m 3-wire cable terminates directly to a terminal strip.
Panel and field wiring
Sized 55 × 20 × 20 mm with the attached 2 m cable, the sensor occupies little DIN-rail or bracket space. The three wires are power (brown/blue) and PNP switching output (black). IP67 allows placement in wet or dusty zones without an enclosure. Stability and output status are shown by two LEDs (red/green).
