Through-beam 30m sensor – what you need to know
The Omron E3SCT112MOMS is an infrared through-beam photoelectric sensor from the E3S-C family, rated for 30 m sensing distance with a 1 ms response time. It ships with a 2 m attached cable and carries IP67 for wet or dusty zones. Output is configurable NPN or PNP, and the switching logic can be set to light-on or dark-on without swapping wires – useful when you need to flip presence to absence detection mid-line.
Integration and signal integrity
Operating voltage range is 10–30 V, load current up to 100 mA, and response time is 1 ms. The output is dual NPN/PNP.
