The Omron E3SCT61 is a through-beam photoelectric sensor set from the E3S-C series, combining transmitter and receiver in a single prewired pair. It detects 15 mm opaque objects at up to 30 m, making it a choice for long-range presence detection on conveyors or through machine apertures. Output is selectable Light-On or Dark-On, driving both NPN and PNP circuits simultaneously, with a 100 mA maximum load per output. That covers most PLC digital inputs and small DC relays directly without an interface module. Rated IP67 and NEMA 6P, the zinc-alloy housing handles washdown environments and temporary submersion. Operating temperature range -13 to 131 °F suits outdoor or unconditioned indoor installation.
