The E3SCT615MOMS: Omron E3S-CT615MOMS is a through-beam photoelectric sensor from the E3S-C series. It provides a sensing distance of 30 m, dual NPN/PNP output, and a response time of 1 ms. The housing measures 23 x 20 x 57 mm and is terminated with a 5 m cable, rated IP67 for washdown environments.
Wiring and output selection
The output can be configured as either NPN (sink) or PNP (source) to match PLC input cards. Switching logic is selectable between Light-ON and Dark-ON via a physical switch, so the sensor can be used for presence or absence detection without reversing the load polarity. Supply voltage range is 10 to 30 VDC, and the load current is rated at 100 mA maximum, which covers direct connection to most digital inputs without an interface relay.
