What it is
The OMRON E3SDS30E4 is a diffuse reflective photoelectric sensor in the E3S series — infrared LED light source, sensing range up to 300 mm, NPN switching output brought out on a 3-wire cable, housed in a metal case rated IP65. It runs on a 24 V supply and switches a load current of 0.04 A through its NPN output stage — the same compact package OMRON has shipped under the canonical MPN E3S-DS30E4.

Fit and wiring
Panel-side footprint is 25 x 92.1 x 41 mm, operating temperature span -25 to 55 °C — drops into the same cut-out and cable gland as other E3S-DS30E4 units, so a swap on an existing spec'd line is a straight connector-for-connector change with no rewiring.
